4. Analytics Tools and Advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager. For users in the EEA the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie will be set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords advertisers’ websites. 5. Plugins and Tools

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the Google-operated YouTube site. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We embed YouTube videos exclusively in extended data protection mode, via youtube-nocookie.com. If you visit one of our pages with an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Booking and Payment

Escape Navigator

We use Escape Navigator for appointment booking and payment. On pages with a booking function, the booking form is embedded in an iframe through our own proxy, nvgprxy.escpe.net. The data you enter during booking - such as name, email address, telephone number, chosen room and time - is processed by the provider, who acts as our processor for that purpose.

The basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (processing to fulfill a contract).

Stripe

Payment within the booking process is handled by Stripe. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe; we do not receive them.

7. Maps on the Contact Page

The contact page shows a map rendered with the Leaflet mapping library. We serve the library from our own server, so no connection to a third party is made for it. The map tiles are loaded from tile.openstreetmap.org, operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which transmits your IP address to them. The basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is in showing where to find us.
